About Entheos Veteran Project
The Entheos Veteran Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to funding treatment, scholarships, and support programs for veterans and their families. We focus on the invisible wounds of service — PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), substance abuse, and mental health — as well as education and family support.
Yes. Entheos Veteran Project is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. If you have questions about our status, you can contact us directly at entheosveteranproject@gmail.com.
We are funded through private donations, community fundraising, and grants. Every dollar donated goes directly toward supporting veterans and their families. If you'd like to contribute, visit our Donate page.
Eligibility
Any U.S. military veteran who has served in any branch of the armed forces is eligible to apply. We serve veterans dealing with PTSD, TBI, substance abuse, mental health challenges, and those seeking educational opportunities or family support resources.
We review each application individually and consider the full context of a veteran's service and circumstances. Discharge status alone does not automatically disqualify an applicant. We encourage all veterans in need to apply.
The application must be submitted by or with the direct involvement of the veteran. However, if a veteran is unable to apply on their own due to their condition, a family member or caregiver may assist and note this in the application. Contact us at entheosveteranproject@gmail.com for guidance.
No. VA benefits are not required. Many of the veterans we serve are not currently receiving VA benefits or have fallen through the gaps in the VA system. Our funding is separate from and can complement any existing VA support you receive.
The Application Process
Click Apply Now on any page. The application takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. You'll be asked about your service history, your current situation, the type of support you need, and the program or provider you'd like to use. After submitting you'll receive a reference code to track your application.
You'll need basic personal information (name, contact details, date of birth), your branch of service and discharge status, and details about the specific support you're seeking — including the program or provider and the estimated cost. The more detail you provide, the stronger your application.
Yes. Veterans may submit more than one application if they have different or ongoing needs. Each application is reviewed individually based on current need and available funding.
After submitting your application you will see a confirmation screen displaying a unique reference code (format: EVP-YYYYMMDD-X). Save this code — you can use it on our Status page to check your application at any time. If you lost your code, contact us at entheosveteranproject@gmail.com with your name and submission date.
Funding & Amounts
It is a grant — not a loan. You are never required to repay any funding you receive from the Entheos Veteran Project. This is a gift from our donors to you in recognition of your service and sacrifice.
There is no set minimum or maximum, but requests are reviewed based on demonstrated need, available funding, and the specifics of the program or provider. Requests exceeding $5,000 require additional review by our team before a decision is made.
Applications requesting more than $5,000 go through an extended review process so our team can verify the program details and ensure proper allocation of funds. This does not mean your request will be denied — it simply requires more time and attention. You will be contacted directly by a team member.
Funding can be used for a wide range of needs including but not limited to: PTSD treatment programs, TBI rehabilitation, substance abuse recovery programs, mental health counseling, education and reintegration costs, housing assistance, and family support services. Funds are typically paid directly to the provider or program on your behalf.
After You Apply
Review times vary depending on application volume and the complexity of the request. Standard applications are typically reviewed within a few weeks. Applications over $5,000 may take longer due to the extended review process. You can check your status at any time using your reference code on the Status page.
This status means our team needs additional information or documentation from you before we can move forward — such as a DD-214, a program quote, or proof of enrollment. Check the note on your status page for specifics, or watch for an email from our team at entheosveteranproject@gmail.com.
A member of our team will contact you directly to discuss next steps and coordinate fund disbursement. In most cases payment is made directly to the treatment provider, institution, or program on your behalf. We will work with you to make the process as smooth as possible.
We understand how difficult this can be. If your application is not selected it is typically due to funding constraints, not a judgment of your worthiness or the validity of your need. You are welcome to reapply in the future. We also encourage you to explore VA resources, local veteran service organizations, and the programs listed throughout our site.
