Rebecca Winn
Co-Founder & Public Relations Director
Rebecca Winn is a dedicated community leader, military spouse, and homeschooling mother of seven whose life and career have been centered around service, resilience, and advocacy. With degrees in Emergency and Disaster Management and Homeland Security, she has developed extensive expertise in crisis planning, emergency response coordination, and community preparedness.
Her professional and personal experiences have given her a unique ability to lead with compassion, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by military families and underserved communities.
As both a military brat and a military spouse, Rebecca has spent her life closely connected to the military community, fostering a lifelong commitment to supporting service members, veterans, and their families. She previously served on the board of Armed Forces Housing Advocates (AFHA), where she contributed to initiatives focused on improving housing and quality of life for military families. From 2020 to 2022, she served as the Planner for all of Anchorage with Team Rubicon, playing a critical leadership role in coordinating disaster response, operational planning, and community support efforts during times of crisis.
Rebecca is especially passionate about advocating for veterans affected by PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). She is committed to increasing awareness, improving access to resources, and supporting programs that promote healing, resilience, and long-term care for those who have sacrificed in service to their country. She is equally dedicated to supporting the families of those impacted by PTSD, TBI, and substance abuse, believing that family members are often overlooked in the recovery process despite carrying significant emotional and personal burdens themselves.
Rebecca strongly believes that true healing and recovery require support systems that care not only for the individual affected, but also for the loved ones walking alongside them. Through her leadership, advocacy, and dedication to family and community, Rebecca continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of military members, veterans, and the communities they serve.
Sarah Kline is Strategic Initiatives & Oversights & Advocacy at a national law firm focused on complex litigation involving military families, environmental exposure, and catastrophic injury. Drawing from her family's military background, she has become a leading voice on issues impacting service members.
Sarah works closely with clients, lawmakers, and national media to elevate systemic issues affecting military communities — helping prepare clients testifying before Congress, contributing to national media investigations, and assisting in drafting legislation on military housing, toxic exposure, antiterrorism, and TBI reform. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to advocacy, legal strategy, and public policy.
